Prayagraj, 22 August (Kiran News). The Yogi government has launched the Block One Crop Scheme to boost the state’s economy to one trillion dollars. Under this initiative, the administration is inviting online applications for the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission. This information was provided on Friday by District Horticulture Officer Saurabh Srivastava.

He said that in view of the significant role played by the horticulture sector, the “Per Block One Crop” scheme has been started by the district’s horticulture department in Prayagraj. Awareness campaigns are being run in every development block regarding this scheme.

Under the scheme, farmers in Jasra and Shankargarh development blocks were informed about the benefits on Thursday. Farmers were told how to avail the benefits of the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission, “Per Drop More Crop” Micro-Irrigation Scheme, and the Prime Minister’s Micro Food Industry Upgradation Scheme.

Where and How to Apply

He explained that to avail the benefits of the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission, beneficiaries must register online on the horticulture department’s DBT portal. The scheme operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration can be done on the departmental DBT portal http://dbt.uphorticulture.in. Beneficiaries will also be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. While registering online, applicants must attach their relevant documents, a recent photo, Aadhaar card copy, bank passbook copy, land records, caste certificate, and registration receipt. These should be submitted on any working day by visiting the office of the District Horticulture Officer, Development Bhawan, Prayagraj, Room No. 85.

Conditions for “Per Drop More Crop”

The District Horticulture Officer stated that to avail benefits under the micro-irrigation scheme, interested farmers must have suitable land in their own name in the required area. It is mandatory for farmers to register online at upmip.in.
