AOC Unveils Affordable 24.5-Inch 1080p 144Hz Gaming Monitor

Mumbai, March 17: AOC has launched its new 24.5-inch monitor, the 25B35XE, in the Chinese market. This monitor boasts a 1080p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, priced at 699 yuan (approximately $100), making it a budget-friendly choice for gamers and everyday users.

AOC 25B35XE Specifications

The AOC 25B35XE features an IPS panel that offers wide 178-degree viewing angles and accurate color reproduction. It provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels along with a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it includes Clear Vision technology, which enhances image sharpness, particularly for low-resolution or compressed content.

With a typical brightness level of 300 nits and a static contrast ratio of 1500:1, this monitor ensures good visibility in various lighting conditions, enhancing detail in both bright and dark areas. It also features an HDR simulation mode that improves highlights and shadows for a more dynamic visual experience, although it does not support full HDR.

The monitor has a 0.5ms MPRT and a 4ms GtG response time, which help reduce motion blur and ghosting. It includes AOC’s MBR Sync for improved motion clarity and Adaptive Sync to prevent screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay.

Designed with gamers in mind, the monitor offers features like GameColor adjustment, shadow control for better visibility in dark scenes, and dynamic crosshair overlays to enhance aiming in FPS games. It also supports low blue light and flicker-free technologies to minimize eye strain during extended use.

The 25B35XE is equipped with HDMI and VGA ports, ensuring compatibility with PCs, laptops, and gaming consoles. Its stand allows for tilt adjustments ranging from −5° to 23°, and it supports VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting.

In related news, Philips has recently introduced a new 32-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor, while LG has launched the 52-inch UltraGear 52G930B monitor, featuring a 240Hz refresh rate, HDR600 support, and a 1000R curved display.
