Mumbai, July 29: Anand Dubey, spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), has highlighted the pressing issue of paper leaks that is affecting promising students across the nation. He stated that after two years of hard work, when a student is fully prepared to take an exam and learns just four days prior that the paper has been leaked, it shatters their confidence.
Dubey emphasized, “This cancer of paper leaks must be eradicated.”
He also addressed the proceedings in Parliament, asserting that effective dialogue can only occur when both the ruling and opposition parties listen to each other. “This is not a time for disputes, but for conversation. Once the session concludes, there will be ample opportunity for debate and criticism,” he remarked.
Dubey urged that in states where paper leak incidents have been reported, movements should be initiated. He stressed the need for stringent laws against paper leaks, stating that both the Chief Minister and the Education Minister must be held accountable. Using Delhi as an example, he insisted that issues should be viewed through a single lens, asserting that those involved in paper leaks are traitors and should not find refuge in any state.
Regarding the NEET paper leak case, Dubey called for the establishment of a fast-track court to ensure swift trials for the accused, advocating for severe penalties that would deter future attempts at paper leaks. He urged the CBI to expedite its investigations, uncover the entire racket, and present solid evidence against the culprits in court.
On comments made by Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge about Subhas Chandra Bose and Veer Savarkar, Dubey suggested that rather than getting entangled in historical debates, discussions should focus on how to advance the country in 2026. He emphasized the importance of working towards making India a developed nation and securing a bright future for the next generation. “Our great leaders made the ultimate sacrifice for the country’s freedom and deserve respect. Both Veer Savarkar and Subhas Chandra Bose are great figures in our history,” he stated.
In response to reports of a warrant issued against Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge by the Sangrur court, Dubey noted that it is inappropriate to comment on ongoing court cases. He acknowledged Kharge’s stature as a senior leader who has served multiple terms as an MP, MLA, and Minister, and stressed that he should be given due respect. If Kharge cannot appear in court personally, his lawyer should be allowed to file an affidavit to complete the bail process.
