
Begusarai, March 23: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) announced the results for the 12th-grade examinations on Monday. This year, a total of 85.19% of students passed the exams. Notably, 26 students secured spots in the top five across all streams, with 19 of them being girls.
Among the high achievers is Anamika Kumari, a student from KL High School in Matihani, Begusarai. Anamika scored 478 marks (95.60%) in the Science stream, earning her the third position in the state.
Speaking about her remarkable achievement, Anamika expressed, “I worked very hard and studied diligently to reach this milestone, and I am extremely happy to have achieved it.”
She mentioned that commuting from Matihani to Begusarai was challenging, and she studied through YouTube for nearly six months.
Originally from Ramchandrapur in Lakhisarai, Anamika had previously secured the sixth position in her matriculation exams. She credits her success to her parents, siblings, friends, and all her teachers. With a combination of offline and online studies, she now aims to prepare for the IIT-JEE and UPSC exams in the future.
Anamika’s uncle shared, “The family is filled with immense joy due to her rank. From Ramchandrapur to here, there is happiness everywhere. Anamika had secured the sixth position in her matriculation exams and now she has achieved the third position in all of Bihar. It feels wonderful and fills us with pride.”
It is noteworthy that Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur topped the Science stream with 481 marks, while Aditi Kumari secured the top rank in the Commerce stream with 480 marks. In the Arts stream, Nishu Kumari from Gaya achieved the first rank with 479 marks.
