Amit Shahs Vision for a Drug-Free India Supported by BJPs Naresh Bansal

BJP MP Naresh Bansal praises Amit Shahs commitment to a drug-free India and addresses various political issues in New Delhi.

New Delhi, October 22 (Daily Kiran) : BJP Member of Parliament Naresh Bansal recently expressed strong support for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s commitment to achieving a drug-free India by 2029. Speaking at an event in New Delhi, Bansal highlighted Shah’s previous success in eradicating Naxalism from the country, which he believes sets a solid foundation for tackling substance abuse.

Bansal addressed several pressing issues, including the removal of photographs from Rehan Vadra’s photography exhibition, Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips, and allegations of electoral irregularities in Uttar Pradesh by Akhilesh Yadav. He emphasized the importance of adhering to institutional guidelines during public events and exhibitions.

Regarding the controversy surrounding Rehan Vadra’s exhibition, Bansal noted that the Bikaner House has specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) governing the number and type of photographs allowed. He stressed the necessity of following these guidelines for any exhibition.

On the topic of Rahul Gandhi’s foreign travels, Bansal criticized him for not being transparent about his trips, despite the government spending significant resources on his security. He raised concerns about the lack of information regarding whom Gandhi meets abroad, suggesting that it raises suspicion. Bansal also condemned some of Gandhi’s statements made overseas, questioning their alignment with national interests.

Celebrating Amit Shah’s birthday, Bansal expressed confidence in the Home Minister’s resolve to guide the nation effectively. Shah had set a goal to make India free from Naxalism by March 31, 2026, which Bansal believes has been successfully achieved. He is optimistic that Shah’s vision for a drug-free India will also come to fruition.

In response to allegations by Akhilesh Yadav regarding electoral misconduct in Uttar Pradesh, Bansal defended the BJP’s commitment to political integrity. He credited the party’s electoral victories to the hard work of its activists and effective leadership. Reflecting on past elections, he claimed that previous practices of booth capturing and releasing criminals from jail have been eradicated, leading to fairer elections.

Bansal also commented on the denial of permission for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert scheduled for October 30 by the Delhi police. He stated that such decisions fall under the purview of the administration, especially if there are concerns about law and order.
