Anil Rajbhar Blames Akhilesh Yadav for Azam Khans Plight

Anil Rajbhar criticizes Akhilesh Yadav for exploiting Azam Khan for political gains, questioning his commitment to the Muslim community.

Varanasi, October 22 (Daily Kiran) : Anil Rajbhar, a cabinet minister in Yogi Adityanath’s government, has sharply criticized Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP). Rajbhar accused Yadav of using Azam Khan to connect with Muslim voters, claiming that the SP and its leader are responsible for Khan’s current predicament.

Rajbhar stated that the Muslim community and Azam Khan have been let down the most by the Samajwadi Party and Yadav. He questioned the party’s commitment to social justice, arguing that while Muslims are utilized as party workers based on their population, the Yadav community is favored for leadership positions. He urged the SP to declare that if given the chance, a member of the Muslim community would be appointed as chief minister in the next government, calling for Yadav to show greater generosity in this regard.

The cabinet minister alleged that the Samajwadi Party has consistently used Azam Khan as a means to reach Muslim voters. He pointed out that Khan’s current situation is directly linked to Yadav’s actions. Rajbhar claimed that Khan was involved in controversial land dealings concerning Dalits, backward classes, and residents of Rampur, while the SP leadership remained behind the scenes. This, he argued, ultimately led to Khan’s imprisonment.

Rajbhar also questioned Yadav’s delay in visiting Khan, suggesting that if a member of the Saifai family were in jail, he would not have taken so long to meet them. He raised concerns about why Yadav, while in Lucknow, had not visited Khan, accusing the SP leader of misleading the public through social media instead of engaging directly with constituents. The Muslim community in the state is eager to understand the reasons behind Yadav’s delay in meeting Azam Khan.
