New Delhi, June 7: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the newly constructed ‘Sabarisam’ building at the Ayyappa Temple complex in RK Puram, New Delhi, on Sunday.
The inauguration ceremony is set to begin at 5:30 PM. During the event, Minister Shah will formally dedicate this building to the devotees and the temple community.
This new facility aims to enhance the temple’s infrastructure and empower its religious, cultural, and social activities.
Temple officials state that the ‘Sabarisam’ building will serve as a vital center for spiritual events, community programs, charitable initiatives, and various religious gatherings throughout the year.
Regarding the inauguration, the Union Home Minister’s office posted on the social media platform X, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the newly constructed ‘Sabarisam’ building at the Ayyappa Temple complex in New Delhi tomorrow.”
The Ayyappa Temple in RK Puram is considered one of the major temples dedicated to Lord Ayyappa in North India. Established in 1980, the temple is renowned for its traditional Kerala-style architecture and attracts a large number of devotees from Delhi and surrounding states. Over time, it has evolved into a significant spiritual and cultural hub for the Malayali community and devotees of Lord Ayyappa in the national capital.
