Srinagar, July 15: In Jammu and Kashmir, the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (Sanjay-2026) has prompted extensive security measures. The Gandarbal Police organized a joint mock drill in Pandit Colony, Manigam, and Thajiwas, Sonamarg, to enhance operational readiness and ensure a swift, coordinated response to any emergencies.
The mock drill in Pandit Colony, Manigam, was conducted by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Gandarbal in close coordination with the Indian Army and other Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Additionally, another mock drill was held at Thajiwas, Sonamarg, involving the Sonamarg Police Station, tourism police, and other CAPF units.
