Ali Fazal Opens Up About His Imperfections in Heartfelt Social Media Post

Mumbai, July 2: It is often observed that many artists become so engrossed in their work that their personal lives take a backseat. Spending time with family, attending parties with friends, or even remembering loved ones’ birthdays can become challenging. Actor Ali Fazal is experiencing something similar in his life.

He shared that he does not consider himself a perfect person, as he often gets so lost in his work that he sometimes neglects his relationships.

In an Instagram post, Ali Fazal stated, “When it comes to showing love to close ones, I struggle to express my emotions openly. There are times when I forget birthdays, family functions, and friends’ invitations. It’s not that I don’t care about people; I get completely immersed in my work, dreams, and the world of cinema. I know this is a significant flaw of mine, which is why I don’t see myself as a perfect person.”

He further added, “Even though I express my emotions less in words, I always try to make my loved ones feel special in my own way. I want them to know that they hold a special place in my life. If someone needs me, I am always there for them. Sometimes, just listening to someone can be the best way to show love.”

Ali Fazal also mentioned his new web series ‘Rakh,’ describing it as a very special experience in his life.

He said, “Joining this project and working with the entire team has been a memorable journey for me. This series has given me a chance to understand myself better. Often, the people around us and our experiences teach us to recognize our strengths and weaknesses. For me, ‘Rakh’ has been such an experience.”

His post has been well-received on social media.

Regarding his new web series ‘Rakh,’ it is a crime thriller inspired by a real incident. The series is based on the infamous kidnapping and murder case of Geeta and Sanjay Chopra. Alongside Ali Fazal, actress Sonali Bendre and actor Aamir Bashir play significant roles. The series was released on Prime Video on June 12.
