Anirudh Ravichander to Marry Kavya Maran, Reception Scheduled for November 21 in Chennai

Chennai, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : Music director Anirudh Ravichander is preparing to tie the knot with Kavya Maran, daughter of Sun Group chairman Kalanidhi Maran and CEO of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad. The news was confirmed by the office of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The Chief Minister’s office shared the announcement on social media, revealing that Kalanidhi Maran and his wife, Kaweri Maran, invited Reddy to their daughter’s wedding reception, which will take place on November 21 in Chennai.

In their post, the CM’s office stated, “Kalanidhi Maran and Kaweri Maran met with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at their Jubilee Hills residence and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran.”

While the exact wedding date has not been officially announced by Anirudh or Kavya, rumors of their relationship first surfaced in 2025, suggesting they were dating. However, both have refrained from publicly confirming or denying their relationship.

The couple’s wedding news comes at a time when Anirudh’s recent film, “Jailer 2,” directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring Rajinikanth, is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Anirudh composed the music for this much-anticipated film.
