Patna, March 20: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna has officially announced the recruitment of 86 faculty positions. The online application process commenced today, March 20, and will remain open until May 4. Eligible candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official website within this timeframe.
The recruitment includes 31 positions for Professors, 16 for Additional Professors, 20 for Associate Professors, and 19 for Assistant Professors. Candidates must possess relevant degrees such as MBBS, MD/MS/DM/MCH from recognized institutions or universities, along with teaching or research experience post-graduation.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 50 years, calculated as of May 4. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government norms.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹2,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹1,200 for SC/ST/EWS candidates. Applicants from the PWD category will be exempt from the application fee.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on preliminary eligibility screening, screening scores (if there are more than 10 applicants), personal interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹1,01,500 to ₹2,20,400.
