AIIMS Patna Announces Job Openings for Senior Plumber and Other Positions

Patna, October 12 (Daily Kiran) : The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Patna has opened up exciting job opportunities for those seeking employment in the healthcare sector. A recent notification on their official website announced vacancies for six Group ‘C’ positions, available on a deputation basis.

Among the openings, there are two positions for Manifold Technicians (Gas Steward) and four for Senior Plumbers. The application process began on October 10 and will remain open until 45 days following the advertisement’s publication in the newspaper. Interested candidates are advised to complete their registration within this timeframe.

Applicants for the Manifold Technician role must have completed their 12th grade in the science stream from a recognized board or institution. Additionally, they should possess at least seven years of experience working with medical gas pipeline systems in a government hospital with a minimum capacity of 200 beds. Alternatively, candidates with a mechanical engineering trade certificate or an ITI diploma, along with five years of relevant experience, are also eligible.

For the Senior Plumber positions, candidates should be officials from the central or state governments, union territory administrations, or statutory/autonomous bodies who have served in a similar capacity or have completed eight years of regular service as a plumber at a grade of ₹1,900.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, calculated as of the final date for submitting applications. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 for the Manifold Technician role, and ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 for the Senior Plumber position.

After filling in the required information and attaching all necessary documents, applications should be sent in a single envelope to the Recruitment Cell at AIIMS, Fulwari Sharif, Patna-801507 via speed post or registered post before the deadline.

It is important to note that the deputation period is initially set for three years, with the possibility of extension up to five years in accordance with the guidelines from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
