Dispur, October 11 (Daily Kiran) : Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced a significant opportunity for young individuals looking to kickstart their careers. The company has released an official notification for 58 apprenticeship positions at its Bongaigaon Refinery unit, categorized by various trades.
Among the available positions, there are 36 openings for Trade Apprentices in Chemical Plant Operations, 14 for Boiler Mechanics, and 8 for Technician Apprentices specializing in Instrumentation.
The online application process began on September 28 and will remain open until October 18, 2026. Candidates interested in applying must register on the NAPS/NATS portal and complete their application on the IOCL official website by 5 PM on the deadline.
Applicants should hold a three-year B.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry for Trade Apprentice roles. For Technician Apprentices, a three-year diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Electronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation is required.
The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 24 years, calculated as of September 30, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on application scrutiny, merit list, document verification, and medical fitness. Selected candidates will receive a stipend in accordance with IOCL regulations.
Training durations will vary between 12 to 24 months, depending on the position. Document verification is tentatively scheduled for November 4 to 6, 2026.
