New Chandigarh, June 4: A single Test match between India and Afghanistan is set to take place on June 6 at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium. Former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Saba Karim has emphasized that this Test presents a significant opportunity for Team India to address its shortcomings in Test cricket and lay a strong foundation for the future.
Speaking on JioSaavn, Karim stated, “Although the India-Afghanistan Test is not part of the World Test Championship cycle, it offers a great chance for the newly structured team under Shubman Gill’s captaincy to build for the future.
