Ujjain, June 10: BJP Karnataka Vice President and actress Malavika Avinash visited the renowned Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. During her visit, she sought blessings from Baba Mahakal and prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good health, longevity, and the prosperity of the nation.
Avinash witnessed the sacred Bhasma Aarti from Nandi Hall and participated in the rituals. Thousands of devotees attended the Bhasma Aarti, filling the temple with chants of “Om Namah Parvati Pataye, Har-Har Mahadev.” The actress spent considerable time admiring the divine form of Baba Mahakal.
After her visit, Malavika Avinash spoke to reporters, stating, “Today, we specifically prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has completed 12 years in office, which is a matter of joy for all of us. With Baba Mahakal’s grace, he has been serving the nation for a long time and will continue to do so. We came here to seek Baba’s blessings and pray for the Prime Minister’s good health, long life, and the continuous progress of our country.”
She praised the divine form of Baba Mahakal, saying, “Experiencing the divine form of Baba Mahakal is immensely joyful. The Bhasma Aarti is very special. Witnessing the grand Abhishek of Mahakal in the morning followed by the Bhasma Aarti provides an extraordinary and spiritual experience.”
It is noteworthy that the Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain takes place daily at 4 AM. This unique and divine tradition involves offering Bhasma to Lord Shiva, symbolizing the transience of life and the ultimate truth of death. A large number of devotees from across the country and abroad visit Ujjain to witness this Aarti.
