Aamir Khan Reflects on His Journey with Photographers at Mumbai Event

Mumbai, March 14: In a special event held in Mumbai, renowned Hindi cinema actor Aamir Khan spoke about his long-standing relationship with photographers and the media. Sharing his experiences, Khan praised the hard work of photographers. He admitted that early in his career, he found photographers somewhat bothersome, but over time, he came to understand the true meaning of their dedication and challenges.

The event took place at the Press Club in Mumbai, where the contributions of photographers were honored.

Speaking to the media, Aamir Khan stated, “I have been working in the film industry for nearly 38 years, but this is the first time I have had the opportunity to visit the Press Club. I am very happy to be invited to this event, where photographers who capture significant events in society and the world are being recognized.”

Khan emphasized, “I believe a picture can often be more impactful than a thousand words. A good photo can tell the entire story of an event. Therefore, I wish all the photographers well, especially those who received awards at this event. This evening will be very memorable for me. I had the chance to meet photographers and their families.”

During the conversation, Khan shared an experience from his early days in the industry. He mentioned, “When I was new to the film industry, I was often troubled by the presence of photographers. However, as I observed closely how hard they work, my perspective changed. It saddened me to see many photographers waiting for hours, sometimes working without food.”

Khan acknowledged the risks involved in photography, stating, “The work of photographers can often be very dangerous. Whether it’s crime reporting or political events, photographers sometimes have to go to places where there may be danger. Despite this, they fulfill their responsibilities and capture important moments. Their hard work and courage deserve recognition.”

He added, “Even though I don’t often engage much with the media, I have never refused to let photographers take my photo. Wherever I go, if photographers are present, I always make sure to pose for them.”
