26th China International Industry Fair Kicks Off in Shanghai
The 26th China International Industry Fair, showcasing innovations in manufacturing, is being held in Shanghai from October 12 to 16.
Shanghai, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : The 26th China International Industry Fair is currently taking place in Shanghai from October 12 to 16, 2026. This year’s theme is “Intelligent Economy, Unlimited Manufacturing.” Spanning an impressive 310,000 square meters, the event features around 300 new products, setting records for both the exhibition area and the number of innovations presented.
The fair includes ten themed exhibition zones where nearly 300 emerging products and services are on display. Notably, over one-third of the domestic exhibitors are classified as specialized, sophisticated, and innovative enterprises, often referred to as “small giants.” Additionally, 400 of the world’s top 500 companies are participating in this year’s event. During the opening ceremony, the “Shanghai Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of Next-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing” was officially launched.
The awards presented at the China International Industry Fair are regarded as significant indicators for the Chinese industry. This year, the independently developed deep-sea deployment and recovery system, known as “Giant Hands of the Ocean,” won an award. This system is primarily responsible for deploying and safely recovering manned submarines, unmanned submersibles, and scientific instruments from targeted marine areas.
