Yogi Government Prioritizes Students Interests by Integrating BSB-Affiliated Schools into Mainstream Education

Lucknow, June 23: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is making significant strides to enhance the education system, making it more transparent, technology-enabled, and student-centric. As part of ongoing education reforms aimed at strengthening institutional frameworks and connecting every student to a structured academic environment, the allocation of U-DICE Plus codes and the upgrading of school categories for institutions affiliated with the Indian Education Board (BSB) in Haridwar is now underway.

The Director General of School Education, Monica Rani, has issued directives to ensure timely action by the relevant authorities. This initiative is considered a crucial step towards linking students’ academic records to the national education system while providing a more organized and transparent educational framework. The education sector in Uttar Pradesh is continuously being strengthened through digital administration, technology-based monitoring, and data management. The expansion of systems like U-DICE Plus is making educational management more effective, transparent, and accountable.

Connecting BSB-affiliated schools to this system is expected to secure students’ academic futures, improve record management, and further streamline the education system. According to the directives from Monica Rani, new U-DICE Plus codes will be allocated to schools affiliated with the Indian Education Board, along with necessary upgrades in school categories as required.

To facilitate this, regional joint education directors, district school inspectors, and district basic education officers have been instructed to complete the application, verification, and recommendation processes in a timely manner. The directives state that schools without U-DICE Plus codes will be allocated new codes, while schools already possessing U-DICE codes will undergo category upgrades in accordance with their accreditation. Relevant officials have been asked to provide necessary documents, reports, and recommendations to ensure that the prescribed procedures are followed.

It is noteworthy that requests for new code allocations and class upgrades have been received for schools operated and affiliated with the Indian Education Board in Haridwar. In this context, the necessary administrative processes have been initiated at the government level. Once schools connect to the U-DICE Plus system, their academic data will be systematically integrated into the national education framework, ensuring better management of enrollment, academic progress, examination records, and other educational processes.
