Vivo X300 Max with Zeiss Cameras and Android 16 Spotted at MWC 2026, Launch Imminent

Barcelona, March 7: The Vivo X300 Max has been quietly showcased at MWC 2026, alongside the highly anticipated Vivo X300 Ultra. While the focus has primarily been on the Ultra model, reports indicate that the X300 Max was also present on the show floor. Leaks suggest that this smartphone features a Zeiss-backed camera system, enhancing its photography capabilities.

Images from the event reveal the device’s model number, V2548A, and its distinct Zeiss branding on the rear camera module. Two cameras flank the branding, with a third lens positioned above them. However, it remains uncertain if there is a fourth camera sensor included.

The Vivo X300 Max was recently listed on China’s 3C certification database, indicating support for 90W wired charging. It is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which will also power other models in the X300 series.

In addition, Vivo executive Han Bo Xiao has hinted at a new AI-powered imaging system designed to simplify photography. This system, developed in conjunction with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 and Vivo’s V3+ chip, is set to debut in upcoming smartphones.

The Vivo X300 Max is rumored to launch in March, potentially alongside the Vivo X300 Ultra. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1440p resolution and a substantial battery capacity of around 7,000mAh.
