VHP Spokesperson Vinod Bansal Calls for a Nation Free from Anarchy on Dussehra
On Dussehra, VHPs Vinod Bansal urges the nation to reject anarchy while addressing various political comments and controversies.

New Delhi, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), extended his greetings for Dussehra and the 101st anniversary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) during a recent address in New Delhi. He commented on various pressing issues, including the eviction notice for the historic Race Course Mosque near the Prime Minister’s residence, remarks by Sharjeel Imam on the Constitution and secularism, and statements made by Rahul Gandhi regarding the RSS.
Bansal emphasized that Dussehra symbolizes the triumph of truth over falsehood and righteousness over unrighteousness. He urged citizens to draw inspiration from this festival and commit to freeing the nation from anarchic elements. Citing Lord Rama’s teachings, he stressed the importance of honoring one’s motherland and adhering to the path of righteousness.
Addressing the eviction notice for the Race Course Mosque, Bansal stated that if any illegal construction has occurred on government land, legal action should ensue. He argued that such regulations should apply universally, regardless of the religious nature of the site, whether it be a mosque, madrasa, or any other public location.
On Sharjeel Imam’s comments regarding the Constitution and secularism, Bansal accused him of undermining the constitutional framework of the country. He called for clarity from those who share Imam’s views and urged followers of Islam to clarify their stance on such statements. He insisted that individuals who do not believe in democracy and the Constitution should articulate their ideologies clearly.
Bansal also expressed discontent over a recent post by Sanjay Raut, which referenced protesters setting fire to the Supreme Court in Albania. He criticized such remarks as inappropriate and demanded an apology from the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction), questioning whether the party desired to see similar chaos in India. He asserted that any attack on constitutional institutions should be unequivocally condemned.
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s comments about the RSS, Bansal labeled them as inappropriate and contradictory. He suggested that if Gandhi wishes to understand the organization, he should visit its branches to grasp its principles and operations. Bansal also challenged Gandhi on issues related to women’s status, religious traditions, and social rights, accusing him of being vocal about Hindu scriptures while remaining silent on issues concerning other religions. He reiterated the need to understand the RSS’s ideology before making comments about it.
