Shiv Sena Targets Maharashtra Government Over Attack on Tiger Shroff, Raises Law and Order Concerns

Mumbai, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : The political landscape in Mumbai is heating up following the recent attack on actor Tiger Shroff. The Shiv Sena (UBT) has directed its criticism toward the Maharashtra government, raising serious questions about law and order in the state.
Ambadas Danve, a member of the Legislative Council from Shiv Sena (UBT), spoke to reporters, emphasizing the alarming situation. “People are walking around with guns in broad daylight. What is the government doing? I believe a deeper investigation into this matter is necessary,” he stated.
Danve further questioned the origins of firearms linked to the Bishnoi gang, asking, “If they are known for using sophisticated weapons, where are these local guns coming from? There needs to be a thorough investigation, as the government seems to have lost control over crime in Maharashtra.”
In addition to the attack, the Shiv Sena (UBT) has clarified its strategy for the upcoming Dussehra rally. Danve remarked, “The purpose of our Dussehra rally is to protect the Constitution. Today, the Constitution in India is under threat. There are restrictions on protests, and the Election Commission seems to operate under government influence.”
Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Jadhav also discussed the rally’s agenda, stating, “Uddhav has already informed us that this year’s Dussehra rally will focus on safeguarding the Constitution, protecting democracy, and addressing issues faced by students whose exam papers are being stolen. Additionally, it will stand against oppression, injustice, corruption, and sexual violence under Uddhav’s leadership.”
Commenting on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s remarks about ‘power change,’ Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Anil Desai said, “The statements being made and the scripts they are following lead to such comments. It’s not new to say that changing the government yields no benefits. What kind of mentality is this? People across the country are also pondering this issue.”
