Mumbai, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Mumbai has been abuzz with concerns over security following a recent shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. In response, Shroff’s team released a statement addressing the situation on Tuesday.
The statement highlighted their intent to take legal action against those spreading false news and AI-generated content related to the actor.
The team clarified that Tiger has not made any public comments regarding the unfortunate incident that occurred on Sunday evening, nor has he released any videos.
They emphasized that anyone disseminating misleading information would face legal consequences. The statement read, “We want to be clear that Tiger Shroff has not issued any statements about the recent incident or any related developments, nor has he authorized any communications.”
It also pointed out that numerous social media pages and digital platforms are circulating fabricated stories, AI-generated videos, and scripted narratives associated with Tiger. These are entirely false, unauthorized, and intended to mislead the public.
The team urged media outlets and digital platforms to exercise caution before publishing or sharing content about Tiger and to verify information. They stated, “We do not support such content, nor do we have any association with it. We request media institutions, digital platforms, and social media pages to act responsibly, confirm information before posting, and refrain from creating or spreading misinformation for views or financial gain.”
Additionally, they warned that any individual spreading false information would face legal repercussions. Proper legal action will be taken against anyone or any page that creates, promotes, or disseminates such fabricated content. The team has reserved the right to pursue all available legal remedies against the offenders.
They also urged everyone to avoid spreading unverified claims and to confirm information through the actor’s official channels before sharing.
