New Delhi, September 22 (Daily Kiran) : Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), has expressed deep concern over recent criminal incidents involving girls in New Delhi. In a post on the social media platform X, he called upon the Delhi Police, the Lieutenant Governor, and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to implement stringent measures and develop a comprehensive plan to ensure the safety of Hindu girls.
Bansal highlighted a recent case in Tilak Nagar, where a young woman named Muskaan was brutally murdered by a man identified as Imran, who entered her home. He noted that this incident occurred less than a month ago, and he criticized what he sees as a growing trend of violence against women stemming from a “jihadi mentality.”
He also referenced two other alarming incidents: one involving a 10-year-old schoolgirl who was allegedly assaulted by a 56-year-old tailor named Maqsood in the Sadar Bazaar area, and another where a 17-year-old girl was reportedly gang-raped by Asif and two accomplices while returning from a temple in Kalakaji.
Bansal emphasized the need for serious attention to the attacks on Hindu daughters in the capital. He argued that harsh measures are necessary to instill fear in the minds of such criminals. He pointed out that numerous similar incidents have occurred in Delhi over the past few years, yet victims have not received full justice. He urged the Hindu community to remain vigilant.
It is important to note that the incidents mentioned by Bansal are currently under police investigation and legal proceedings. In the Tilak Nagar case, the accused has been arrested, while police have registered cases and initiated investigations in the Sadar Bazaar and Kalakaji incidents. Authorities have assured that actions are being taken according to the law in all cases.
