Mumbai, May 11: Actor Vedang Raina is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Hindi period romantic drama, “Main Wapas Aaoonga.” In this film, he plays the lead role of ‘Keenoo.’
In addition to acting, Vedang has ventured into singing. He has lent his voice to the song “Maskara,” which has garnered significant praise.
On Monday, Vedang shared a video on Instagram, where he is seen sitting in a garden in London, playing the guitar and singing “Maskara.” He captioned the post, “Had a beautiful day in London. Now eagerly waiting for you to hear my version of ‘Maskara’.”
Fans have responded positively to Vedang’s post, showering him with compliments for both his acting and singing talents.
The song “Maskara” features music by A.R. Rahman, with vocals from both Vedang and Nilanjana Ghosh. The lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil, capturing the unspoken emotions of young love.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film is set against the backdrop of the 1947 India-Pakistan partition, telling the love story of Vedang and Sharvari Wagh, with Diljit Dosanjh’s character connecting the past.
In this period film, Vedang will be seen wearing a turban, embodying a romantic hero from a bygone era. His character brings to life themes of nostalgia, separation, and unwavering love.
“Main Wapas Aaoonga” also features notable actors like Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah in significant roles. Produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films, the film is set to release on June 12.
