
Mumbai, April 19: Actor Varun Tej is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film ‘Bhaari,’ where he portrays a volleyball player. During his training for the film, he suffered a serious injury, fracturing his knee, which necessitated a minor surgery.
On Saturday, Varun took to the social media platform X to update his fans about his health. He shared a note stating that the surgery was completely successful and that he is now gradually recovering. The actor expressed gratitude to his doctors and mentioned that he will soon return to work, stronger than ever.
In his post, Varun wrote, “Thank you to everyone who cared for me and supported me. It means a lot to me. The surgery went well, and I am now focusing on healing completely and getting stronger.”
He further thanked his doctors for their excellent care and guidance, assuring fans that he would be back to work soon, “coming back even stronger. Love, Varun Tej.”
In ‘Bhaari,’ Varun Tej’s role as a volleyball player required intense training. Unfortunately, he suffered a knee fracture during this rigorous training. His sister, Niharika Konidela, had previously informed fans about his injury, confirming that the surgery was successful and that Varun is now recovering under medical supervision.
It is noteworthy that the shooting for ‘Bhaari,’ directed by Yadhu Vamsi, was scheduled to begin in May. However, it has been postponed until Varun Tej fully recovers. The film is being produced under the banner of Niharika and Pink Elephant Pictures, with Ravi Shankar D as the co-director and Ramesh Manyam serving as the executive producer.
