Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Predicts NDA Victory in 2027 Elections

Brajesh Pathak claims the NDA will secure a strong majority in the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections, criticizing opposition alliances.

Lucknow, October 1 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has confidently asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will once again form a government with a significant majority in the 2027 assembly elections. This statement comes ahead of the elections scheduled for next year.

Pathak took a jab at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for not attending a recent meeting of the opposition coalition, known as the India Bloc. He remarked that the alliance is divided, with half of its members on one side and the other half on the opposite, leading to intense internal conflict. He believes this disarray diminishes the coalition’s relevance.

Under Prime Minister Modi‘s leadership, Pathak emphasized that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the world’s largest political party. He expressed confidence that the NDA, led by the BJP, will secure a commanding majority in Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming elections.

In response to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi‘s comments regarding the Election Commission and the Special Investigation Team (SIT), Minister Narendra Kashyap countered that Gandhi’s statements and actions are non-political. He accused Gandhi of undermining India’s democracy by questioning institutions like the Election Commission, the CBI, and the judiciary. Kashyap claimed that the Congress party is attempting to mislead the public by blaming the commission for its repeated electoral defeats.

Kashyap also addressed the India Bloc’s recent meeting, suggesting that the coalition is facing an existential crisis. He pointed out that the Samajwadi Party’s absence from the meeting reflects a lack of trust in the alliance. He criticized the coalition for being limited to mere formalities, highlighting that many of its member parties have historically contested elections separately, failing to uphold the principles of the alliance.

On Akhilesh Yadav’s “PDA” slogan, Kashyap suggested that Yadav should clarify its meaning to the public. He noted that Yadav has awarded one Rajya Sabha seat to his uncle and another to a wealthy individual, which he argues undermines the aspirations of the people associated with the PDA. This, he claims, demonstrates that for Yadav, family and wealth take precedence over the coalition’s ideals.
