UP Ministers Criticize SP, Highlight Development Ahead of 2027 Elections

Uttar Pradesh ministers attack the SP, emphasizing development and law enforcement ahead of the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.

Hardoi, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : In Uttar Pradesh, political tensions are rising between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) as the 2027 assembly elections approach. Ministers Rajni Tiwari, Dayashankar Singh, and Danish Azad Ansari targeted the SP and its leader Akhilesh Yadav, touting the government’s achievements in development, law enforcement, and farmer welfare.

Rajni Tiwari asserted that the “double-engine” government is performing effectively in the state, noting significant advancements in development and improvements in law and order. She emphasized that both the central and state governments are working together to propel the nation forward.

Responding to comments made by Akhilesh Yadav regarding the BJP, Tiwari suggested that the SP leader should focus on his party instead of worrying about the BJP’s progress. She stressed that the BJP operates under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Dayashankar Singh criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for making statements during foreign trips that he claimed undermine the dignity and respect of the country. He pointed out that certain individuals within India are attempting to weaken the nation, with some foreign nationals participating in protests.

Singh also highlighted that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system ensures timely payments to farmers, asserting that the current government prioritizes their interests.

Danish Azad Ansari accused the SP of political despair, contending that the BJP’s double-engine government is rapidly advancing Uttar Pradesh’s development. He supported statements made by Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh about the SP, alleging that the party seeks to lead the state into chaos.

Ansari predicted that the electorate would respond to the SP in the 2027 elections, noting that since 2017, the Yogi government has transformed the state’s image and destiny, moving away from a legacy of mafia rule and lawlessness.
