Current trends indicate that the UDF is ahead in approximately 97 seats, while the Left Democratic Front (LDF) is leading in 40 seats and the BJP in 3.

Inside the Congress office, State President Suni Joseph closely monitored the trends on various TV screens. Initial reports of trailing raised concerns temporarily, but soon the UDF regained its lead, reflecting its strong performance across the state.

As the UDF’s lead strengthened, senior leaders began arriving at the party headquarters. Ramesh Chennithala was among the first to arrive, leading by over 10,000 votes in the Haripad seat. Upon his arrival, party workers erupted in cheers, lifting him onto their shoulders as they brought him inside.

Following him, K.C. Venugopal, a potential candidate for the Chief Minister position, also arrived to a warm welcome from enthusiastic supporters, who similarly lifted him in celebration.

The highest excitement was observed when Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan reached the headquarters. After initially trailing, he made a comeback in the Paravur seat, igniting tremendous enthusiasm among the workers.
