UAE Prioritizes Safety Amidst Regional Threats, President Affirms

New Delhi, March 8: The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has assured citizens residing in the UAE that the safety of all citizens, residents, and visitors is the nation’s top priority.

In a post shared on his social media accounts, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized, “I want to convey to everyone living in our beloved country and to our guests that the UAE prioritizes the safety of all its citizens, residents, and visitors. By God’s grace, the UAE is fully prepared to face these threats.”

He further expressed deep appreciation for the brave armed forces, dedicated security agencies, and all national institutions and teams working tirelessly for the country’s security. “They exemplify the highest standards of preparedness and cooperation. We take pride in them,” he stated.

The UAE President also extended heartfelt gratitude to Emirati citizens and residents who have shown their love and loyalty to the UAE through their words and actions. “Every individual who loves this country and contributes to its development is as Emirati as any citizen,” he remarked.

He prayed for peace for the victims and a swift recovery for the injured, affirming that the UAE, known as the land of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, will remain strong in its unity, safeguard its sovereignty, and continuously move forward into the future.

Meanwhile, the United States has launched a large-scale operation to evacuate its citizens from the Middle East. The U.S. Department of State reported that over 28,000 American citizens have safely returned to the U.S. since the end of February.

Assistant Secretary of State Dillon Johnson stated that the government is coordinating flights, ground transportation, and emergency assistance to evacuate American citizens amid ongoing security concerns in the region. He noted that more than 28,000 American citizens have returned safely to the U.S. since February 28, although this figure does not include Americans who have left the Middle East for other countries or are currently en route.
