Mumbai, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Twinkle Khanna marked her husband Akshay Kumar’s birthday with a lighthearted post on social media. The Bollywood star, known for his roles as a ‘Khiladi,’ received warm wishes from his wife on September 9.
In her Instagram stories, Khanna shared a playful image of herself attempting to choke Kumar in jest. Accompanying the photo, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Mr. K! As promised, I will stand by you until you turn 99.”
The couple grew close while working together on the film “International Khiladi” in 1999. After dating for several years, they tied the knot on January 17, 2001. They welcomed their first child, son Aarav Kumar, in 2002, and became parents for the second time with the birth of their daughter, Nitara Kumar, in 2012.
As Kumar celebrated his special day, numerous prominent figures from the film industry took to social media to convey their best wishes. Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Happy Birthday Akki, my favorite. Sending you lots of love and hugs.”
Ajay Devgn added, “Happy Birthday Akki! It’s been over 30 years together in this industry. Keep playing like a true Khiladi.” Kajol also chimed in, saying, “Happy Birthday Akshay Kumar! Hope you have a fantastic time.”
