Trump Issues Stark Warning to Iran: We Will Destroy Every Power Plant and Bridge

Washington, April 19: U.S. President Donald Trump has once again issued a stern warning to Iran. Accusing the country of violating ceasefire agreements, he stated that if a deal is not reached, every power plant and bridge in Iran will be destroyed.

On Sunday, Trump took to Truth Social to express his threats. He claimed that Iran had fired shots on Saturday, completely disregarding the ceasefire agreement. He alleged that many of these shots were aimed at a French ship and a UK cargo vessel.

In addition, the U.S. President confirmed discussions taking place in Islamabad. He mentioned that his representatives would travel to Pakistan on Monday evening.

Trump also mocked Iran’s claim regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by the IRGC. He noted that this assertion is peculiar, as the strait is already effectively closed due to U.S. sanctions, causing Iran to incur losses of $500 million daily.

He emphasized that if a deal is not agreed upon, Iran would face devastating consequences. “We are offering a very fair and reasonable deal, and I hope they accept it. If they do not, it would be an honor for me to do what no other U.S. President has been able to do with Iran in the past 47 years,” he said.

The joint U.S.-Israel airstrikes began on February 28, with a temporary ceasefire announced on April 8. Following this, talks were held in Islamabad to find a permanent solution, but they ended without results. Discussions for a second round of dialogue were underway. Although no official announcement was made, local media reported that traffic in Islamabad’s Red Zone was restricted in anticipation of the foreign delegation’s arrival. Trump’s post has now confirmed the upcoming Islamabad Talks 2.
