In a post on the social media platform ‘Truth,’ Trump stated, “Pam Bondi is a great American patriot and a loyal friend who has served with utmost dedication as my Attorney General for the past year. Pam has done an incredible job tackling crime nationwide, leading to the lowest murder rates since 1900. We love Pam, and she is about to take on a crucial new responsibility in the private sector, which will be announced soon. Our Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanch, a highly talented and respected legal expert, will now assume the role of acting Attorney General. Thank you all for your attention to this matter.”

Before the swearing-in, Vice President Vance introduced McDonald, stating, “One of the tasks Colin will undertake is ensuring that no fraud is too small or too large to be overlooked.”
