Hazaribagh, April 28: A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Hazaribagh district in Jharkhand. On Monday evening, the bodies of two young women and a young man were recovered from the Dandaha River in the Mufassil police station area. The news of the discovery of three bodies spread quickly, causing a sensation in the locality, with many residents gathering at the scene.

The deceased have been identified as Washifa Naz, also known as Khushi, Saniya Parveen, and Adil Hussain. Reports indicate that the three were cousins and had mysteriously gone missing since April 23. Their families had searched extensively for them and eventually filed a missing persons report at the Mufassil police station.

The sudden discovery of their bodies in the river has left their families devastated. Relatives at the scene expressed deep suspicions of foul play, asserting that the deaths were not merely accidental but could be part of a larger conspiracy.

They have urged the police administration to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation to uncover the truth. Upon receiving news of the incident, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Amit Anand arrived at the site with a police team. The authorities have taken the three bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examination at Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital.

SDPO Amit Anand stated that the case is extremely serious, and police are meticulously investigating every possible angle. He mentioned that the cause of death would only be clarified after the post-mortem report is available, determining whether the deaths were due to drowning or if there was any criminal intent involved. The deaths of three members of the same family have created an atmosphere of fear and tension in the area.

Local villagers are also in shock over this incident. The police are investigating whom the three were in contact with on the day they went missing.
