Tragic Collision in Yeola Claims One Life, Leaves Another Injured

Yeola, October 5 (Daily Kiran) : A tragic accident occurred in Yeola, Maharashtra, where an Eicher tempo collided with a stationary truck, leading to one death and leaving another person seriously injured. The injured individual has been admitted to the Yeola sub-district hospital for treatment.

The incident took place in the Pindar Gali area along the Lakshmai Mata to Nagad Darwaza Road. The tempo struck the truck from behind with such force that the truck was pushed several meters forward. Additionally, a car parked in front of the truck was also caught in the collision.

Preliminary reports suggest that the driver of the Eicher tempo failed to see the parked truck, which resulted in the accident. The deceased has not yet been identified, and police are currently investigating the incident.

It has been noted that a significant number of vehicles are often parked along the Lakshmai Mata to Nagad Darwaza Road, which reduces the available space for traffic and increases the risk of accidents in the area.

The victim, identified as 35-year-old Lankesh Ramesh Baghel from Nagara, was traveling on the highway when the speeding truck hit him. The impact was so severe that he died at the scene. Following the incident, the truck driver fled the scene, prompting angry locals to block the Gondia-Balaghat highway. They demanded that authorities locate the responsible truck and arrest the driver immediately.
