New Delhi, April 5: A tragic road accident occurred in Badaun district, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the death of two young men and injuries to over six others. The incident took place when a speeding vehicle collided violently with a bus carrying wedding guests.
The accident happened near the Sabdalpur turn. According to police and eyewitnesses, the passengers were celebrating a wedding when the vehicle struck the bus from behind at high speed. The impact was so severe that the rear of the bus was extensively damaged.
Two young men, identified as Sajid and Farhan, lost their lives at the scene. Both were seated at the back of the bus. More than six other wedding attendees sustained serious injuries and were promptly transported to Badaun Medical College Hospital for treatment. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examinations. The news of the accident has plunged both families into grief, with relatives in deep sorrow. The atmosphere of celebration has turned into one of mourning, leaving the entire community in shock.
