Meanwhile, the Srinagar-Leh Highway and Mughal Road, which connect the Kashmir Valley to Jammu Division and Ladakh region, remain closed. Heavy snowfall has blocked key mountain passes including Zojila and Pir Ki Gali on these routes.
Other important passes such as Sinthan Pass, linking Anantnag district to Kishtwar, and Razdan Pass, connecting Bandipora to the Gurez border area, also continue to remain shut.
