Contrary to widespread expectations that Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza will be the number one pick, McShay projects the Las Vegas Raiders selecting Oregon quarterback Dante Moore with the first overall pick.
Many experts anticipate Mendoza going first, but McShay places him second, heading to the New York Jets. A notable point of discussion remains whether Moore will declare for the draft, as he has only one year of starting experience and may choose to stay at Oregon for further development.
For the Tennessee Titans, McShay suggests selecting linebacker Arvell Reese from Ohio State. Reese is viewed as a top-10 talent, with a strong combination of size, speed, and power. At 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Reese has an excellent combination of size, speed, power, and bend.”
