Bollywood star Tiger Shroff was targeted in a shooting incident in Mumbai, leaving multiple people injured.
Mumbai, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : A shocking incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff unfolded in Mumbai, where his BMW was fired upon. Forensic investigations reveal that assailants used a locally-made pistol to shoot at the vehicle. The attack left Shroff’s driver, Ferdous, and another individual injured, both of whom were hospitalized following the incident.
Three gunmen on a motorcycle targeted the car, firing a total of seven rounds. Five bullets struck the vehicle, while two missed their mark. After the fifth shot, one of the shooters approached the passenger side of the car and attempted to shoot Tiger Shroff at close range. However, the gun reportedly jammed, preventing the shooter from firing successfully despite two attempts.
This malfunction likely saved the actor’s life. Following the shooting, the assailants fled on a motorcycle, which was allegedly prepared by a third accomplice. Meanwhile, Mumbai police confiscated a two-wheeler believed to have been used in the attack near Andheri railway station.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening around 7 PM when Shroff and Ferdous left the M.M. Matrix gym in Santa Cruz West to play football at Jamnabai Nursery International School in Vile Parle West. As they returned and turned left out of the school’s gate, their car was targeted.
Ferdous lodged a complaint, prompting the Juhu police to file an FIR under sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS), 2023, along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act of 1959. The police have recorded Ferdous’s statement at Nanavati Hospital.
