Mumbai, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : A shocking shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff unfolded in Juhu, Mumbai, as described by eyewitness Salma Sheikh. According to her account, chaos erupted when a thin, seemingly impoverished young man opened fire shortly after Shroff exited his vehicle.
Sheikh explained that she and others were filming a vlog during a birthday celebration. The festivities were lively, with guests enjoying food and drinks indoors. Once the party concluded, Shroff left in his car, only to be confronted by the assailant.
Describing the shooter, Sheikh said, “He looked like someone from the streets. He came and started firing, and initially, we thought it was just firecrackers for Diwali. However, the situation escalated when Shroff’s car halted, and he hurriedly exited, revealing that his driver had been injured and was bleeding.”
In response to the incident, Union Minister Piyush Goyal assured the public that police would act swiftly to apprehend the perpetrators. AIMIM national spokesperson Waris Pathan expressed grave concern over the shooting, noting that such violence in a bustling area like Juhu is alarming.
Pathan remarked, “We’ve seen similar incidents before, including attacks on Salman Khan and gunfire at Rohit Shetty’s residence. This raises questions about whether some individuals are trying to revert Mumbai to the chaotic days of the 1990s when the underworld threatened film stars.”
He criticized the police for their apparent inaction amidst these recurring threats, urging the government to prioritize public safety. “It’s unacceptable for such violence to occur in broad daylight, especially during a festive season when families are out celebrating,” he added.
Pathan emphasized the need for decisive action from law enforcement to restore order in Mumbai, which he believes has deteriorated significantly. He called for an urgent response to prevent further incidents and protect the city’s residents and public figures alike.
