Three Arrested for Possession of Illegal Weapons in Greater Noida

Greater Noida, August 18: The Ecotech-3 police in Greater Noida have arrested three individuals for possessing illegal weapons. Authorities seized a .315 bore illegal pistol, a live cartridge, two illegal knives, and a motorcycle without a license plate from the suspects.

According to police reports, the operation took place on August 17, based on local intelligence and confidential information. The Ecotech-3 police team was conducting checks on the road leading from Khairpur roundabout to village Vaidpura when they received information about suspicious activities. During the checks, three young men were stopped for questioning and searched, leading to the discovery of illegal weapons.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Sachin Bhati alias Suchha, 19, from village Firozpur, police station Chola, district Bulandshahr; Daksh Solanki alias Himanshu, approximately 21, from village Daudpur, police station Chola, district Bulandshahr; and Lakshman alias Sukki, 18, from village Hiranoti, police station Kakod, district Bulandshahr.

Police reports indicate that Sachin Bhati was found with one illegal knife, while Daksh Solanki had the .315 bore illegal pistol and a live .315 bore cartridge. Lakshman alias Sukki also had an illegal knife in his possession. Additionally, the motorcycle believed to be used by the trio, which lacked a license plate, was confiscated by the police.

The police have registered a case at the Ecotech-3 police station. They are now interrogating the suspects to determine the origin of the illegal weapons and their intended use. This operation is part of a broader initiative based on local intelligence and confidential tips. Necessary legal actions are being taken against all three suspects.
