Nagpur, August 18: Congress leader Nana Patole has responded to Prime Minister Modi‘s Independence Day speech and the controversy surrounding ‘Vande Mataram’.
In an interview, Patole remarked that ‘Vande Mataram’ is sung in just two steps. He emphasized that instead of the BJP portraying itself as patriotic, more attention should be given to the Prime Minister‘s speech. When the Prime Minister addresses the nation from the Red Fort, it sends a message to the world. However, he referred to the youth of the country as ‘mental Naxals’.
Patole stated that the BJP does not need to teach us patriotism. He criticized the party for the distress it has caused to Generation Z, claiming that they have ruined the country over the past 12 years, leaving the future of the youth bleak. As a result, the youth across the nation have awakened and made life difficult for the BJP. He accused the party of attempting to divert attention from the main issues by blaming Congress.
He also mentioned that Generation Z has been disparaged, with the BJP government exacerbating their wounds. The consequences of this will have to be faced by the ruling party. Regarding Rahul Gandhi’s recent relief from the court, Patole noted that the Allahabad High Court ruled in favor of Gandhi.
Recently, Congress leader Udit Raj stated, “Dozens of FIRs have been filed against Rahul Gandhi. The BJP has always targeted him because they fear him. However, these efforts are proving futile. The more they try to defame him and file false cases, the stronger he becomes.”
