Mumbai, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : The teaser for the political thriller “Bloody Politics,” directed by Dheena Raghavan, was unveiled on Saturday in Mumbai. The film explores grassroots politics and power struggles in the local areas of South Chennai.
This release coincided with the birthday celebrations of actor Gautam Ram Karthik, who stars in the film. Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi shared the teaser on social media, extending birthday wishes to Karthik and highlighting the film’s launch.
The teaser offers a glimpse into the narrative, featuring Karthik as Ilaya, an aspiring political figure. It introduces several intriguing characters that enhance the storyline’s depth. Notably, it includes powerful dialogues, one of which states, “The era of leaders being well-known figures is over. Now, it’s time for familiar faces to rise.”
Renowned directors P. Vasu and Selvaraghavan play significant roles in the film. The teaser hints at Selvaraghavan portraying a ruthless leader, while P. Vasu appears as a security guard attempting to thwart Ilaya’s political ambitions.
Under Dheena Raghavan’s direction, the film stars Gautam Ram Karthik and Anchana Nethran in lead roles. The cast also includes Robbie, A. Venkatesh, Maran, Indumathi, Aditya Kathir, Bakiyam Shankar, and others in pivotal roles.
“Bloody Politics” is produced by Ganesh K. Babu, known for his critically acclaimed hit “Dada.” The film is produced under his banner, Draft by GKB, with Sanjay Muthukumaran as co-producer.
