Chennai, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay of Tamil Nadu is set to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, next January. This visit aims to attract global investment and accelerate the state’s industrial development.
Invited by WEF officials, Vijay is expected to participate in the five-day meeting from January 18 to 22. The gathering will feature political leaders, government representatives, members of international organizations, civil society, academics, and media personnel from over 100 countries.
Vijay’s participation is seen as a crucial opportunity to showcase Tamil Nadu’s industrial strength and investment potential to international leaders. The state government hopes this trip will draw investment, promote emerging sectors, and establish Tamil Nadu as a preferred destination for investors.
The Davos meeting serves as a platform for discussions on the global economy, investment, industrial growth, and pressing challenges facing the world. It also provides governments with a chance to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and seek solutions to economic and social issues.
