Chennai, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : Actor, composer, editor, and filmmaker Vijay Antony’s highly anticipated film, “Appa Kutti,” is scheduled to hit theaters on November 6, coinciding with the Diwali festival. The announcement was made by the film’s makers on Saturday, marking a shift from its original release date of October 16.
Sharing the new release date on social media, Vijay Antony expressed his excitement, stating, “Diwali is confirmed.” “Appa Kutti” will be available in cinemas worldwide starting November 6.
Sources connected to the film have described it as an action-packed family drama that explores deep emotional connections and relationships, particularly highlighting the bond between a father and daughter.
Recently, Vijay Antony unveiled the film’s first poster, which features a poignant image accompanied by the caption, “A wounded face, a safe shoulder; sometimes, love looks like this.” The poster aims to set the tone for the film’s emotional depth.
Director Mu. Maran has crafted “Appa Kutti” as a compelling entertainer, blending action, emotions, and dramatic moments that are expected to resonate with audiences. The film promises to deliver thrilling cinematic experiences while touching viewers’ hearts.
Initially, the film was slated for release in August, but the date was postponed to October 16 before finally settling on the Diwali date of November 6.
