Mumbai, May 10: Actress Sumbul Touqeer, who has made a name for herself in the television and film industry, stepped into acting at a young age. In a recent interview, she reminisced about her early career and shared her experience of working with actor Ayushmann Khurrana during the filming of ‘Article 15.’

Sumbul revealed that she felt quite nervous while shooting, but Ayushmann helped her feel at ease. When asked about working with such a prominent actor at a young age, she expressed, “I was very nervous at that time, thinking that performing in front of such a brilliant actor wouldn’t be easy. However, once the shooting began, the atmosphere was entirely different.”

She added, “Ayushmann is not only a great actor but also a wonderful person. His friendly demeanor on set made me forget that I was working with a major star.”

Sumbul continued, “He made me feel comfortable in every scene and boosted my confidence, allowing me to gradually open up in my performance. Most of my scenes were with Ayushmann, which gave me ample opportunity to spend time with him and understand acting closely.”

She further stated, “Working with him was a learning experience for me. I learned to grasp the nuances of acting and how to convey emotions in front of the camera, which has proven to be significant for my career.”

Directed and produced by Anubhav Sinha, ‘Article 15’ revolves around IPS officer Ayan Ranjan, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, who investigates the disappearance of three girls in a small village. In addition to Ayushmann Khurrana, the film features notable performances by Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub.
