Gorakhpur, May 13: The passing of Prateek Yadav, the younger brother of Akhilesh Yadav, has left a profound impact on many, including BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan. In a recent conversation, Kishan expressed his deep sorrow over Prateek’s untimely demise. He praised Prateek’s character and described the loss as significant for the entire Yadav family.
Kishan remarked that it was shocking for someone so young, only 39, to pass away. He shared, “Prateek was a genuinely good person. We often met at the gym, discussing our workouts. He was a successful businessman who preferred to stay away from politics.”
Kishan further revealed that Prateek had been receiving treatment at Vedanta for some time. He stated, “He leaves behind two lovely daughters. May Mahadev grant strength to his wife, Aparna, and their daughters. I also wish strength to Akhilesh Yadav and the entire Yadav family. This is a tremendous loss. His passing is truly shocking. While the cause of his death is still unknown, it is heartbreaking that he is no longer with us, and may Mahadev give him a place at His feet.”
In addition to discussing Prateek’s death, Kishan addressed international issues. He noted the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, suggesting that it does not bode well for the future. “From what I understand, considering Donald Trump’s approach and Iran’s ancient history, it seems this conflict is far from resolution,” he commented.
Kishan praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for alerting the nation to challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. He echoed the PM’s call for caution in light of the global situation, urging Indians to take necessary precautions.
He said, “PM Modi has appealed to everyone to refrain from buying gold as an investment in the coming year. Unless absolutely necessary, avoid foreign travel to protect our foreign exchange reserves. Reduce the use of petrol and diesel, and increase the use of electric vehicles or bicycles.”
Kishan also mentioned that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered a reduction in the size of his convoy. He has encouraged all MPs and MLAs to observe a ‘No Vehicle Day’ once a week.
