Strict Measures Implemented for NEET UG Re-Examination in Nawada

Patna, June 19: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the re-examination for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026 on June 21 at five centers in Nawada district. The exam is scheduled from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.

To ensure a successful, peaceful, and fair examination process, Amit Anurag, the Sub-Divisional Officer of Nawada Sadar, has enforced prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Indian Citizen Security Code (BNSS). This order will be in effect from 10 AM to 6:30 PM on June 21, covering a 200-meter radius around all five examination centers.

During this time, no individual will be allowed to carry weapons, sticks, knives, explosives, or any other dangerous items within this area. Unnecessary movement within the 200-meter zone will be restricted. The distribution or dissemination of any examination-related documents or promotional materials is also prohibited. Any activity that could compromise the integrity and confidentiality of the examination is strictly forbidden.

Additionally, gathering of five or more individuals in the area with the intent to disturb public peace or engage in disputes is not allowed. The use of loudspeakers or similar devices within hearing distance of the examination centers is also banned.

Candidates are only permitted to bring their admit cards into the examination centers; no other documents, books, notebooks, mobile phones, electronic devices, or notes will be allowed. Any disruption to the smooth, fair, and peaceful conduct of the examination is completely prohibited.

This order does not apply to the legitimate activities of candidates participating in the exam. Firearms held by government officials and police personnel are exempt from this prohibition. The order will be effective from 10 AM to 6:30 PM on June 21.
