India Stands Strong with Nepal Amidst Tragic Disaster: Jagannath Sarkar

Mumbai, August 30: BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar has expressed deep sorrow over the recent disaster in Nepal. He emphasized that India is standing firmly with Nepal during this challenging time, offering all possible assistance.

In a conversation, Sarkar stated, “What happened in Nepal is truly tragic. No one was prepared for it. The sudden floods have caused significant loss of life and property. Our country, India, has always supported nations affected by natural disasters. As before, India is fully cooperating with Nepal and providing help.”

He also voiced concerns about the flood threat in Bihar. The MP remarked, “The water that wreaked havoc in Nepal is now moving towards Bihar. The water levels in Bihar’s rivers are rising. People should remain vigilant, as the river levels are increasing rapidly. The government must support the families of those who lost their lives in this natural disaster and provide them with compensation.”

Discussing food security, he added, “The government should pay special attention to food safety and security. If any wrongdoing occurs, penalties should be imposed.”

Regarding the participation of three BJP MPs in a tribute meeting for Sajjan Kumar, convicted for anti-Sikh riots, Sarkar commented that it was not a significant event. He stated, “Our organization is vast. Such minor incidents can occur within a large organization. There is no need for further commentary on this matter.”

On the alliance with the Akali Dal, he mentioned, “The Akali Dal has been BJP’s oldest ally, so coordination with them is not new. This alliance will benefit the country.”
