Patna, March 15: Bihar government minister Dilip Jayaswal criticized the opposition on Sunday regarding the global situation, the spread of rumors in the country, and the West Bengal elections. He emphasized that amidst conflicts in various countries, India’s primary concern is to provide facilities and security to its citizens.
Minister Jayaswal stated that many parts of the world are currently experiencing war-like conditions, particularly among nations such as Iran, Israel, the United States, Russia, and Ukraine. These conflicts have led to various challenges for many countries. During such times, India’s focus should be on how to continuously provide support and services to its people.
He accused certain individuals within the country of spreading misleading propaganda even in this serious situation. Specifically, he pointed out that some people associated with the India Block and Congress are attempting to mislead the public by spreading rumors.
Jayawsal remarked, “In such adverse circumstances, if anyone spreads false news within the country, it is akin to betraying the nation. The entire country understands that there is no direct connection between India and the ongoing conflict among Iran, Israel, and the United States. Yet, rumors are circulated in India claiming that gas or petrol supplies have run out.”
He noted that such individuals attempt to instill fear and confusion in society. Jayaswal urged the government to take strict action against those who spread such rumors and ensure they are punished.
Additionally, he targeted the Trinamool Congress and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding West Bengal politics. He highlighted the massive turnout at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally on Saturday as an indication that the people of Bengal desire change.
He stated, “Millions attended Prime Minister Modi’s rally on Saturday. Mamata Banerjee is misusing administrative systems to remain in power. She is trying to maintain her government through fear and the misuse of government machinery.”
Jayaswal further asserted that the people of West Bengal have begun to understand why the state is not developing, why its youth are not finding jobs, and why the populace is not thriving. The people of Bengal are aware of these issues, and he believes that the BJP will form the government in the state in the near future.
