New Delhi, March 6: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the administration of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi has announced a significant initiative. Women will be granted free access to the temple on this special day. Whether they are residents of Kashi or visitors from across the country and abroad, all women will have the opportunity to visit Lord Vishwanath without needing a ticket.
Women arriving in Varanasi will find it easier to pay their respects to Lord Baba Vishwanath and benefit from this special arrangement. This initiative not only holds religious significance but also promotes the dignity and respect of women in society.
The Chief Executive Officer of the temple, Vishvabhushan Mishra, stated that on March 8, women will be granted direct entry through Gate No. 4-B. Priority will be given to women accompanying children. This arrangement will free women from the hassle of long queues and ticket purchases. The early morning hours from 4 AM to 5 AM and the evening hours from 4 PM to 5 PM are already reserved for local residents, so this special arrangement for women will be available throughout the rest of the day.
